SEML’s Annual Parade of Lights Returns November 28 to Celebrate Eagle Mountain Lake and Its Community

Save Eagle Mountain Lake (SEML) will bring the community together on Saturday, November 28, for the 2026 Eagle Mountain Lake Parade of Lights, an annual SEML event celebrating the holiday season and the people who make the lake a special place to call home. Presented by Action Water Sports, the parade will begin at sundown, approximately 5:30–5:45 p.m., weather permitting.

For more than 35 years, the Parade of Lights has been a holiday tradition on Eagle Mountain Lake. Decorated boats, colorful reflections on the water, and families gathering along the shoreline create a festive setting for neighbors and friends to enjoy an evening together. Returning participants help carry that tradition forward, while new boat captains and first-time spectators bring their own enthusiasm to the celebration.

For SEML, the annual parade is an expression of love for Eagle Mountain Lake and its community. The lake connects people through recreation, friendship, family time, and a shared appreciation for the place around them. Bringing those people together during the holidays is a meaningful part of SEML’s connection to the community it serves.

The event also offers an opportunity to recognize the generosity and cooperation that make a community celebration possible.

SEML extends special thanks to Action Water Sports, this year’s presenting sponsor and a 2026 Top Ten MasterCraft Dealer, for its continued support. That commitment helps keep the Parade of Lights a tradition the community can look forward to each holiday season.

SEML is equally grateful to all of the businesses, individuals, and families whose sponsorships make the event possible. Each sponsor contributes to the shared effort behind the parade, and every level of support is appreciated. Together, these supporters help turn months of anticipation and preparation into an evening the entire lake community can enjoy.

The cooperation of the Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) is another valued part of that effort. Each year, TRWD opens Twin Points Park for parade viewing, giving residents and visitors a place to gather along the shoreline and enjoy the decorated boats. This cooperation helps extend the celebration to families and spectators joining from shore.

SEML sincerely appreciates TRWD’s continued willingness to work with the organization and support this annual tradition. The relationship reflects the value of organizations working together for the benefit of the lake and the people who enjoy it.

This year, the parade route will conclude at Lakeview Marina, where The Anchor on Eagle Mountain Lake will serve as the host for the after-parade celebration. Located at the marina, The Anchor will welcome the community for a family-friendly gathering featuring live music, pictures with Santa, the parade awards ceremony, and a fireworks show.

The celebration is open to everyone. Boat captains and their crews, families watching from shore, sponsors, friends, and neighbors are all welcome to take part. SEML thanks The Anchor for hosting this year’s gathering and providing a place for the community to continue celebrating together after the boats complete their route.

Boat captains are encouraged to enter this year’s parade and add their creativity to the evening. Individual/Family and corporate sponsorship opportunities are also available for those who would like to support the event. Every sponsorship includes boat parade entry at no additional charge, and boats may also be registered separately.

As November 28 approaches, SEML looks forward to welcoming familiar faces and new participants to the water and shoreline. The Parade of Lights is an opportunity to celebrate a place people love, thank those who support it, and spend time together during the holiday season.
